Clips are a great way to highlight an important section of a discussion. Observers can create, edit, delete, and download clips.

1: Creating Clips
There are three ways to create a clip:
1.1: Creating a Clip from the Video Preview Window
Open your project and go to the video preview window.
If needed, click the button in the upper right corner of the screen, to the right of the notes, to make the transcript pane disappear and enlarge the video preview for a more comfortable editing experience.

Under the video preview window, select CLIP at the point that you want to start the clip.

Use the timeline handles to adjust the start and end times of your clip, or manually enter the start and end time codes for precise control in the fields below the video preview window. Clips can be up to 2 minutes in length.
Add a Clip title. If you do not provide a name, the clip will be saved with a default name based on the date and time of creation.
Click Create to finalize your clip.

Your clip will display in the left side menu.
1.2: Creating a Clip from the Transcript Window
Open your project and go to the transcript view.

Find the line of text in the transcript where you want your clip to start. Select the scissors icon next to your chosen line of text.

Use the timeline handles to adjust the start and end times of your clip, or manually enter the start and end time codes for precise control in the fields below the video preview window. Clips can be up to 2 minutes in length.
Add a Clip title. If you do not provide a name, the clip will be saved with a default name based on the date and time of creation.
Click Create to finalize your clip.

1.3: Creating a Clip from an Existing Clip
Open the clip from which you want to create a new clip.
If needed, click the button in the upper right corner of the screen, to the right of the notes, to make the transcript pane disappear and enlarge the video preview for a more comfortable editing experience.
Under the video preview window, select CLIP at the point that you want to start the clip.

2: Managing Clips
Sometimes, you will need to edit or delete a clip.
2.1: Editing a Clip
Navigate to the Clips section of your project.

Select the clip you want to edit.
If needed, click the button in the upper right corner of the screen, to the right of the notes, to make the transcript pane disappear and enlarge the video preview for a more comfortable editing experience.

Select Edit to modify the clip's name, description, start time, and end time.

Use the timeline handles to adjust the start and end times of your clip, or manually enter the start and end time codes for precise control in the fields below the video preview window. Clips can be up to 2 minutes in length.
If you are editing directly from the transcript view, you can move the start or end markers to the desired lines in the transcript.
If the clip has a default name, you can change it to a more descriptive one by editing the name field in the dialog box.
Select Save to apply your changes.
2.2: Deleting a Clip
Navigate to the Clips section of your project.
Select the clip you wish to delete.

Open the vertical three dot menu. Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion in the dialog box that appears.
3: Downloading Clips
Navigate to the Clips section of your project.
Select the clip you want to download.

Select Downloadto save the clip to your computer.
Once the clip is downloaded, you can share it via email or any file-sharing platform.
