Joining via Quick Access Link
Observers can join a live session in Forsta Discussions using a provided Quick Access Link.
Click the Quick Access Link you have received to join the session.
If you are opening the quick access link on:
your mobile device: you will be directed to the App Store to download and install the Discussions app (if not already installed). Once the app is installed, you will need to return to the email or message and tap the Quick Access Link again to access the session.
a computer: the session will open in a web browser.
Enter your name and email address to log in.
After logging in, you will see a list of available sessions to join. This list will show the session names, times, and statuses (“Live” or “Scheduled”).
Select the session you wish to observe. A new tab will open with the session’s waiting room.
Once you have selected a session, you will see a screen indicating that you are waiting for the moderator’s approval.
Once approved by the moderator, you will be directed to the session. You will be invisible to participants, and your mic and camera will be disabled.
Accessing the Observer Lobby
After joining the session, you will enter the observer lobby where you will be invisible to participants, with your mic and camera disabled throughout the session.
Viewing Upcoming Sessions
You can view and select upcoming sessions to observe from your dashboard while you are logged in.
