The login process has been streamlined with new features to improve accessibility and ease of use. This includes updated waiting room interfaces, clearer instructions, and enhanced audio/video settings.
Introduced the clipping tool, which enables users to create, manage, and share clips from session videos. This functionality is invaluable for analyzing session content and presenting key highlights. To learn more, visit: Creating and Managing Clips (Observers) and Creating and Managing Clips (Moderators).
Added Network quality indicators, these provide a visual representation of each participant’s network status. This allows moderators and participants to quickly identify and address connectivity issues to ensure a smoother session experience. Discussions now supports individual direct chat messaging between moderators and observers as well as between moderators and participants.
When participants wish to share their screens, their request must now be approved by a moderator. The moderator(s) will see a pop-up notification on their screen and they can choose to allow or deny the screen share from taking place.
Moderators may now join any Discussions session within a project without having to be specifically added to that session.
Added the Session Quick Link feature, which allows moderators to generate a unique URL for a specific session, providing participants with direct access to that session. This feature can be used for both upcoming and ongoing sessions. To learn more, visit: Providing Participants with a Session Quick Link.
Added the Invisible Moderator feature; this allows moderators to join a session without being visible to participants. This enables moderators to manage sessions, assist with troubleshooting, and provide support discreetly. To learn more, visit: Invisible Moderator.
